After dinner, YuanYang thoroughly tidied up the kitchen.

It’s not that GuQingPei wouldn’t do these kinds of chores but he just felt like he didn’t need to do it. He didn’t think that YuanYang actually wouldn’t mind and did it quickly. Just like he had said, “This kind of thing is not a bit tiring.”

After tidying up, YuanYang went to the study room and moved a stool to sit next to GuQingPei, “Show me some of the information on the case.”

GuQingPei raised his eyebrows and handed him a stack of documents, “Are you even going to be able to understand?”

YuanYang shook the file that seems quite thick and asked, “Isn’t it in Chinese?”

GuQingPei moved his glasses, too lazy to banter with him. “I’ll give you a brief summary of the case. Then you can read the information, study it carefully and ask me if you don’t understand. Tomorrow is Sunday, you still have a day to get familiarize with the case. You’ll be flying to XX City on Monday. By then, if you still can’t tell what it is that you’re requesting the person to do it’ll would be too shameful. Once you get in contact with the person, call me. If necessary, I could also go there.”

“I know, now tell me about the case.”

GuQingPei explained it to YuanYang.

Even though GuQingPei didn’t come from a professional legal background, he used to have a lot of work relating to legal cases and legal provisions. However, he himself had a partnered lawyer. The two have worked together for five to six years and collected a lot of asset bundles. This part of the income is even more impressive than his salary. GuQingPei kept talking. After a short while, he came to realize that YuanYang was staring at him the entire time. Creasing his brows, “What did I just say?”

“During that year, 428 acres of land transfer fees were paid to local farmers. The remaining 400 acres were not paid in time due to the company’s financial crisis,” YuanYang quickly reiterated flawlessly.

GuQingPei lowered his head to turn the pages in the file and looked up, “Right, more than ten years have passed. Now the local farmers have used this piece of land for farming. Although the land transfer contract was still there, it is now considered a re-acquisition. The locals are certainly unwilling to sell at the price from before. This is one of the major issues with this piece of land.”

YuanYang nodded, then suddenly moved close and kissed GuQingPei’s lips.

GuQingPei was stunned, furrowing his brows as he leaned back, “What are you doing?”

YuanYang shrugged, “I don’t know, just want to kiss you.” He was too lazy to think of a reason. He wanted to do it so he did it. Why is there a need for a reason? He leaned forward and held the back of GuQingPei’s head, not allowing him to refuse, he moved even closer and kissed GuQingPei’s soft lips again.

This is different from YuanYang’s previous aggressive actions. It is rather a gentle kiss. YuanYang only softly sucked his lower lips a few times and let him go.

GuQingPei pushed his glasses, “Concentrate on the business matter at hand. What did I just say?”

YuanYang curled his lips, “I’ve heard it and wrote it down. You don’t have to keep emphasizing this.”

“Do you really remember?”

“I remember. I’ll review the materials carefully tomorrow. It’s already 9:30. I’m gonna go to sleep.”

“Sleep at 9:30?”

“I’m used to sleeping early and getting up early,” YuanYang stretched his body, “You also need to go sleep.”

“I still have a lot of things to do.”

“No, you must sleep before 10,” YuanYang reached his hand out and took GuQingPei’s glasses, then carefully observed his exhaustive eyes, “You really look a bit younger when you don’t wear your glasses.”

GuQingPei reached his hand out to try and snatch his glasses back but YuanYang raised his arm with no intention to give it back to him.

GuQingPei turned around and took out a spare pair from the drawer.

YuanYang instantly move close and grab the glasses from his hands. He threw it aside and pulled GuQingPei up, “I said go to sleep, so go to sleep.” After saying that, he dragged GuQingPei into the bathroom, “Go take a bath or I will strip you naked and help you wash.”

GuQingPei sighed. He could only go into the bathroom and slammed the door on YuanYang.

YuanYang’s mouth twitched, revealing a very light smile.

YuanYang went to another bathroom and simply showered. Then acting as though this is his own home, he very naturally flopped himself onto GuQingPei’s bed.

As soon as GuQingPei entered the bedroom, he saw YuanYang sitting on his bed wearing only a pair of underwear, looking at a book that was on his bedside.

Although GuQingPei felt that there is very slim hope, he can’t resist in ordering, “Go sleep in the guest room.”

YuanYang raised his brows, “Nope.”

GuQingPei turned around wanting to leave but YuanYang muttered behind him, “Wherever you sleep is where I would sleep.”

GuQingPei closed his eyes, restraining the urge to swear as he returned to his bed.

With both arms crossed on his chest and his two long legs crossed, YuanYang unhesitatingly showed off his perfect figure to GuQingPei.

GuQingPei pretended not to look. He immediately got under the blanket and lie down with his back facing YuanYang.

YuanYang flipped his blanket, “Aren’t you fucking gay? Don’t you like men? I have such a great body, you don’t even take a second look?”

GuQingPei turned around and looked at him like he is stupid.

YuanYang leaned toward him, “Hey, did you wash away the mark I left?”

Speaking of which, when it came to this, GuQingPei is full of discomforting rage. He was scrubbing his little brother so hard that it was red in order to get rid of this annoying person’s water pen mark. As he was scrubbing, he really wanted to kill YuanYang.

YuanYang wickedly smiled, “Did you wash it off? If you’re not going to tell me, I’ll check it myself.”

GuQingPei gnawed his teeth, “Been washed away.”

YuanYang lowly laughed and just like a child pressed his upper body on top of GuQingPei. His head got in front of GuQingPei’s face and winked at him while softly uttering, “You really look young when you don’t wear your glasses. And with your hair scattered, you don’t look much older than me.”

GuQingPei pushed his head away, “If I look young, how could I get people to have confidence in me?”

YuanYang pulled back his head and hugged GuQingPei from behind, “Hey, isn’t it tiring to be living like this?”

“Tired? Compared to whom? Moreover, isn’t living tiring? Should I have depended on other people to support me?”

YuanYang pondered, “I can support you.”

“You?” GuQingPei snorted, “Young Master Yuan ah, you don’t even have enough money in your pocket for a lunch box.”

“You really have no shame to say that. Whose to be blamed for that?”

“Who told you to be such an idiot, just casually saying a few provoking words and you really give it (money) all up.”

“Fuck. You fucking spilled the truth,” YuanYang fiercely pinched GuQingPei’s waist.

GuQingPei hissed out in pain, “You deserved it. Without using this way to control you, it won’t work at all.”

YuanYang coldly snorted, “So in the end, you ended up being controlled on the bed?”

GuQingPei elbowed him on his stomach, “Hurry up and let me go, I need to sleep.”

“I want to hug you,” YuanYang wrapped his arms around GuQingPei’s waist, pulling him into his arms.

GuQingPei struggled a few times but couldn’t get him to let go so he simply went along with it.

In fact, it is actually nice and warm, GuQingPei thought. Not literally referring to the warmth of the actual temperature, but to be able to sleep with a warm person on a dark winter night is something that is…… very nice and warm.

GuQingPei closed his eyes and peacefully nestled into YuanYang’s arms, falling into a deep sleep.
