“This is the kind of place you’re taking me to (eat)?” GuQingPei followed YuanYang to a barbeque grilling food stall and sees the bare-bodied boss with a shimmering face grilling lamb kebabs.

“Don’t pretend. Why be so picky? You’re not going to get poison and die from eating here.”

GuQingPei helplessly glance at him, “The Company will reimburse our meals. It’s okay if you don’t have the money, I’ll cover it first.”

YuanYang scoffed, “Stop being annoying, the more people in a place, the better. It’ll make the other party less vigilant. We’re going to eat here.”

GuQingPei hesitated a moment but still sat down along with YuanYang.

GuQingPei lightly smiled, “Don’t worry about them, let’s just drink.”

YuanYang smiled and glanced at him, “Don’t you feel better like this? Always being so proper and still not even tired.”

GuQingPei sneered, “I’m not being proper. I’ve always been like this. Don’t tell me I should be bringing a bunch of coworkers to eat barbecue all day. Then, how could I manage them?”

YuanYang patted his face, “If someone is not being obedient, I’ll help take care of it.”

“Why is it that you always like to lecture people for whatever reasons? That’s really annoying.” YuanYang grinned as he filled their glasses with beer, “Drink and shut up.”

GuQingPei shook his head and began to eat and drink.

He drank a few glasses of beer and said to GuQingPei, “I’m going to the toilet. No matter what, anyone who come over to say anything or whatever happens, just ignore it. Wait for me to get back.”

“What are you going to do?”

“If someone is sitting inside, then there must be someone waiting outside. I’ll go and pull the rabbit out.”

GuQingPei immediately grab his wrist, “Be careful, don’t be reckless.”

“Relax,” said YuanYang wearing his jacket. When he got to the door, he shouted, “Boss, is there a bank nearby? I need to get some money.”

“Out the door, across the street and walk left, you should see it.”

“Thanks.”

GuQingPei didn’t turn back. He continued to eat and drink.

A few minutes later, he saw a man who was sitting at the corner of the table quickly leave after paying his tab. Before leaving, he glanced fiercely at GuQingPei.

GuQingPei smiled lightly.

After a while, YuanYang came back.

He looked just the same as he left, as if nothing had happened.

GuQingPei was a little surprised, “You got it taken care of?”

“Three people were in a car. Bunch of rookies, don’t even know how to follow people secretly and even ran away after I gave them a beating,“ YuanYang was somewhat disappointed.

GuQingPei’s face was rather imposing, “Are they going to do something?”

“I’m also worried about this, but if we don’t drive them away, how can we sleep peacefully in the hotel tonight?” YuanYang glanced at his watch, “Let’s hurry up and go. Change our hotel and have Lawyer Zhao bring us our luggage tomorrow.”

“Okay.”

The two quickly paid and plan to hail for a taxi.

The food stall had only one central street so even though it is late at night, there are many people waiting in line for a taxi. The two did not expect this situation so they felt very helpless.

The two men went to the night market across the street and tried to mingle in with the crowd.

Cold sweat protruded on GuQingPei’s forehead. Even though he is not afraid of fighting, it’s not the same when the other party has weapons. These long machetes look really scary.

The bystanders who originally crowded around them all screamed and flee in all directions.

YuanYang didn’t expect that this group of people was so brazen to dare to commit crimes in the downtown area. He really didn’t know enough about this city.

He shoved GuQingPei away, “Why are you staring? Leave.”

GuQingPei hesitated, then turned and went to a small jewelry booth.

YuanYang grabbed a wooden rod from a small poncho shop and started to fiercely strike the first gangster running toward him.

With only a scream, this gangster’s face was full of blood from the hit, immediately falling to the ground, unable to move.

The lady that was buying something from the store was still in shock, but GuQingPei had already run off.

When GuQingPei came out of the small shop group, he saw YuanYang waving the long wooden rod, making this group of gangster swaying from side to side. But the situation is not so optimistic. Even though the wooden rod is long, it is very inconvenient to use. Once someone is able to come close, YuanYang would not be able to deal with all of them.

GuQingPei took a deep breath and rushed forward, smashing his pipe on one of the gangster’s shoulders. The gangster was caught off guarded by this sudden attack. He screamed and fell to the ground.

YuanYang turned his head and glanced at GuQingPei with amazement. Then his eyes fell on GuQingPei’s hands, “This is good to use, give it to me.”

GuQingPei quickly threw the iron pipe to him.

YuanYang holding the iron pipe, turned around and strike it at two people that had come rushing forward, exposing a sinister smile, “This is good, it’s good!”

GuQingPei wanted to pick up the rod that was on the ground but the scene was too chaotic. YuanYang stepped on the rod and almost slipped. Nevertheless, he lost his concentration. Then in a moment of confusion, he was kicked to the ground by someone.

GuQingPei saw that the machete was about to drop, but it’s beyond his reach.

YuanYang gritted his teeth and raised the iron pipe to block it. Two people next to him took this opportunity and rushed forward.

GuQingPei was not much a fighter, but his physical condition was very good. He braced himself and rushed forward and kicked one of the gangster’s waists, making the guy fall to the ground. Then he wanted to pull YuanYang up from the ground, but YuanYang’s saw a shiny light flashed and quickly shoved GuQingPei away. The strength he exerted was so tremendous that he ended up tumbling.

A bright machete axed down and YuanYang ended up rolling to the floor.

A smothered scream entered GuQingPei’s ears. He turned his head and saw that YuanYang’s shoulder had been gashed by the blade, dark red blood splattered to the ground.

GuQingPei’s heart violently jerked and his brain buzzed.

YuanYang struggled to get up. He struck the guy who gashed him with the iron pipe and threw him to the ground, continuously slamming his back and legs on the ground several times. The guy’s companions were so shocked by YuanYang’s ruthless expression and his level of brutality that they didn’t dare to move forward for two to three seconds. A red-haired boy turned to GuQingPei.

YuanYang suddenly ran toward him.

The red-hair boy raised his knife to strike but GuQingPei was able to dodged and avoid it. YuanYang grabbed the red-hair boy’s arm with one of his hands and twisted it hard.

The red-hair boy shrieked in piercing screams. YuanYang eyes were bloodshot as he mercilessly twisted the boy’s arms and used his foot to forcefully stomp on his elbow joint twice.

GuQingPei’s lips shivered. Anyone with any medical knowledge would know that this boy’s arm is crippled.

YuanYang’s one hand lifted the red-hair boy’s twisted arm and one leg remained trampling on his body. He turned his head grimly at the remaining gangsters.

The remaining three or four people didn’t dare to move. They were obviously frightened by YuanYang’s merciless brutality.

To a person who has actually carried out life-and-death missions with live ammunition, this mob of gang is a completely different world.

At this time, the sirens sounded at a distance.

The group of gang flees into the van and left.

YuanYang’ sat down on the ground, gasping heavily.
