Beloved Enemy Chapter 53

YuanYang’s breathing was a little heavy as he glared at GuQingPei, his voice hoarse, “I wanted to see you.”

GuQingPei furrowed his brows, “For what? Let me think about this. You sped back from that far away because you wanted sex? YuanYang, you’re always like this, anything that doesn’t go your way, you will use sex to solve it. I also like a life full of passion but sex is only a part of it. In the end, besides the lower body feeling good, nothing is solved. Don’t think that everything will go your way. Who do you think you are?” GuQingPei raked his hands through his hair, “I don’t know what it is you wanted in coming back but if there is nothing, hurry and go back. It’s going to be morning soon, you still need to take WangJin to check out the land.”

Without wearing his glasses, he couldn’t quite see YuanYang’s expression clearly but he could feel the violent fluctuations in YuanYang’s emotions.

YuanYang took a stepped forward and grabbed his collar, angrily shoving him to the wall.

Their eyes interlocked, the flames in their pupils beamed with intense emotions, exchanging between each other’s breaths.

GuQingPei looked at him fiercely, “YuanYang, what the fuck trouble are you trying to cause?”

YuanYang’s lips trembled a little as he uttered with difficulty, “You don’t like me even a bit?”

There was a voice in his heart, very loudly asking GuQingPei to give him a positive answer. As long as GuQingPei tells him what he wanted to hear, then he will…..

GuQingPei said coldly, “How we got started you know very clearly in your heart. You haven’t forgotten that you gave me the drug and fucked me, right? Then, humiliated me for a long time afterward? Even if you have forgotten, I have not forgotten. How is there room for us to develop feelings? I am now letting you live in my house; one reason is that I can’t kick you out. The second reason is that having sex with you is really not bad. It’s good that I can still be nice to you. What more do you want?”

YuanYang furiously clenched his fist; then ruthlessly smashed his fist toward GuQingPei’s face.

GuQingPei subconsciously closed his eyes.

A loud noise rang next to his ears.

The pain that he had imagined did not happen. He opened his eyes and sees the hard, stone-like fist slammed into the wall, right next to his face. With the direct light from the setting sun, he could see fresh blood trickling down the wall.

YuanYang’s perplexed expression is one that GuQingPei had never seen.

GuQingPei frighteningly looked at YuanYang’s shoulder. Because he had used so much force, the wound that had just closed up and healed had split open again. Seeing the blood slowly seeped through his sweater, he voiced, “Your wound is opened, bandage it…..”

YuanYang swatted his hand away, “Don’t need for you to care.”

His voice is full of resentment and grievances that can’t be concealed even if he tried.

GuQingPei’s face sunk, “I’ll take you to the hospital. Then, I’ll go see WangJin myself. I can’t even be at ease with matters handed over to you.”

When YuanYang heard the name “WangJin,” it was simply adding fuel to fire. He instantly gripped onto GuQingPei’s shoulder and said coldly, “You like WangJin’s type, right? Mature with a successful career, everything different from me. His is the type you like?”

GuQingPei was silent, “This has nothing to do with him.”

YuanYang stared at him, “You’ve always found me troublesome, isn’t that right? Can’t wait for me to move out quickly and get lost so that I won’t bother you anymore, right?” When YuanYang asked these questions, he felt a sense of suffocating fear. He felt incessantly panic-stricken toward GuQingPei’s response.

GuQingPei lowered his head, pursed his lips, and secretly clenched his fist.

Sometimes YuanYang is really annoying, but……

GuQingPei’s mind flashed to YuanYang’s many facial expressions, his smirking expression, his spoiled child-like expression when he grabs onto his waist, his unreasonable and roguish expression, and his firm and fearless expression when he pushed him away from getting slashed my those machetes in XX city.

GuQingPei’s attitude is as if he implicitly admitted.

The blood in YuanYang’s chest heatedly surged. He had never felt so pained. His entire life, he had never cared whether people had a good impression of him. He was more than happy in dealing with those people that didn’t find him pleasing to the eyes. Except for GuQingPei. GuQingPei being fed up with him, finding him troublesome is something that he can’t accept.

Should he do something to reverse GuQingPei’s impression of him? But what should he do? This bastard, GuQingPei had been annoyed with him from the beginning to end! Their relationship started out from being dangerously explosive, mutually hostile. The only thing they haven’t done is fight physically. However, he had since clearly forgiven GuQingPei’s offending behavior so why couldn’t GuQingPei be more accepting and broad-minded?

How should he describe this kind of sadness, humiliation, and shame?

He wanted to live well with GuQingPei but GuQingPei always had a lot of dissatisfaction toward him. YuanYang felt the heat rising on his cheeks from rage and shame.

He was so enraged that his heart and lungs could explode.

YuanYang immediately grabbed GuQingPei’s chin, forcing him to lift his head.

GuQingPei expression is complex as he looked at him deeply.

YuanYang gnashed his teeth, “I won’t let your wish be fulfilled. Don’t you find me annoying? I will hang around you every day. Who cares for you to like me? I don’t give a damn. GuQingPei, since the beginning, we have been fuck buddies. I have never forgotten this point. Its best that you…best that you also keep that in mind!”

GuQingPei maintained his calmness on the surface but his voice trembled, “Little comrade, your self-esteem is very high, thinking that everyone should like you? You’re thinking too much. Don’t worry, I’ve never forgotten.”

YuanYang ruthlessly slammed his mouth onto GuQingPei’s mouth, blocking him from sprouting out anymore words.

This mouth!

If this mouth can’t talk, then he will never hear GuQingPei ridicule him and say all this bullshit that makes him want to kill people.

YuanYang brutally kissed him, making GuQingPei’s lips painfully sore. He couldn’t stand this kind burdening kiss. Also, there was no reason for him to accept YuanYang venting his anger on him. He leaned on YuanYang’s chest and forcefully pushed him away.

YuanYang’s fist was still bleeding as he viciously glared at GuQingPei.

GuQingPei have never felt so exhausted before.

The image of the peaceful coexistence between the two from before continued to emerge in their minds. Although they did not want to admit it, their cohabitating livelihood can be considered as sweet. He would rather not have used YuanYang’s laptop yesterday and not chatted with PengFang. After all, it was something that was irrelevant.

Why should he know?

If he didn’t know, at least he and YuanYang could continue on maintaining the illusion of peace and live this mutually beneficial life.

Why should he know?

YuanYang casually rubbed his hands on his clothes, then turned and walked out. GuQingPei tried to restrain himself, but still yelled out, “Where are you going?”

YuanYang turned back and smiled sarcastically, “Going back to WangJin.”

GuQingPei turned his face and sighed, “Let’s take care of your wound first.”

YuanYang glanced at him coldly, “None of your fucking business.” After saying that, he put his trembling hands into his pocket, slammed the door and left.

GuQingPei slowly sat down on the floor, feeling loss as he looked at the spotted blood on the ground.

The pain in his heart is indescribable.

He’s always felt that there is some connection in his head that has gone wrong. His mind, that he had always trusted, could not give him any answers.

Seeing the expression on YuanYang’s face when he left made him feel terrible.

In this house … most are good memories. In fact, as long as he could thoroughly understand YuanYang’s temperament, YuanYang is not difficult to get along with. He’s just like a child, always suggesting various unreasonable demands but won’t necessarily be happy with him or anyone just following along. In actuality, one doesn’t need to follow along with these demands for him to be happy, he (GuQingPei) just has to gradually and patiently divert his attention away from what he (YuanYang) wanted. In this way, he (YuanYang ) might not be satisfied but just by treating him better in other areas, he will put his sharp edges away.

Unconsciously, he (GuQingPei) has already grasped the method to get along with YuanYang. He can guarantee that he can enjoy YuanYang’s diligent service and not let himself get too upset. In fact, living with YuanYang every day, it’s been… been mostly comfortable.

But he can’t say this to him.

Thinking about what PengFang said had trampled his self-esteem down to his feet. His façade of not caring in front of YuanYang was merely to preserve his pride, but he can’t deceive himself.

The shame of being played with by a half-size kid can never be dispelled.

Therefore, he can’t say it out. He only wanted to ridicule YuanYang using the most harsh and sarcastic words to ease the shame in his heart.

Hence, both are not happy.

GuQingPei gently hit the back of his head on the wall, hoping that he would come to his senses.

He has been smart even as a child. For more than 30 years, he was raised with constant praises. He has always felt that his IQ is superior to people … except for when it came to YuanYang. He felt that he handled this terribly.

Why is it that from the moment he met YuanYang, his IQ and business intelligence is pulled down? His principles have completely been thrown to the back of his mind.

Have his calm and collected nature also sadly disappeared?

GuQingPei grabbed his head, feeling confused and troubled.

    1. Oh gosh Nens…so sorry to hear about that. Nobody can really feel what those people who have experience it feel. These are fictional characters… yet I can somewhat feel their pains.. I can’t imagine how hard it would have been in real life… but it seems like you’re moving passed it…. hopefully it will just get better over time… it will.

    1. This is a really sad chapter.. you can feel both of their struggle having to reopen their tumultuous past… no matter what, unless they come to grips with it.. it will always come back to haunt them though.
