Beloved Enemy – Chapter 19-26 Summaries

Chapter 19

• GuQingPei regains consciousness and realized what really had transpired (as in being screwed literally) and naturally becomes furious seeing YuanYang and tells him to fuck off.
• More intense mocking, insulting verbal bickering between the two.
• YuanYang orders milk and porridge for GuQingPei.
• GuQingPei questions YuanYang on his sexuality. YuanYang feels a bit ashamed. After all, he is not/wasn’t gay. He’s become confused himself.
• GuQingPei concedes that he had lost this round to YuanYang and asked him what he wants but YuanYang doesn’t know. He merely responds for GuQingPei to not be too controlling going forward. GuQingPei agrees adding on that he will no longer need YuanYang to be his driver, but YuanYang maintains that he will continue to drive him.
• ZhaoYuan calls GuQingPei. YuanYang is baffled on how GuQingPei could be so affectionate and warmly toward her.
• ZhaoYuan and GuQingPei have a good conversation. She wants to bring GuQingPei food from her mom and see him but he informs ZhaoYuan that he’s on a business trip and will be return home shortly.
• YuanYang questions GuQingPei on the identity of the person on the phone to which GuQingPei ignores him and then proceeds to tell YuanYang that he may resign and do whatever he wants, that he will explain to YuanLiJiang regarding his resignation.
• YuanYang snatches GuQingPei’s phone to see who it was that GuQingPei was talking to earlier.
• Porridge is brought in to which YuanYang orders GuQingPei to eat and was once again told to fuck off. YuanYang storms out.
• GuQingPei admits to himself that he felt pleasure from last night’s experience (though he was essentially raped).
• YuanYang goes back to the room where he previously stayed with PengFang.
• He is frustrated at who this ZhaoYuan is.
• YuanYang turns on the laptop to watching their erotic video once again. A shocking thought occurred in his mind. And that is, he wanted to do it again with GuQingPei.

Chapter 20

• GuQingPei goes back to sleep.
• YuanLiJiang calls him. Apparently YuanYang had called and told him that GuQingPei has a fever. They have a chat in which GuQingPei pretends to be a willing mentor.
• GuQingPei suggests to YuanLiJiang to confiscate his car to which YuanLiJiang agrees.
• YuanYang comes back to the room with the doctor to check on GuQingPei. The doctor asks if YuanYang had given him the medication to which YuanYang replied he has, which shocks GuQingPei since he knew that the medication is likely applied to his butthole. YuanYang tells the doctor that he will continue to apply the medication to GuQingPei.
• The doctor leaves. GuQingPei reads on his phone while pretending that YuanYang doesn’t exist.
• YuanYang orders another bowl of porridge since GuQingPei didn’t eat the previous one. GuQingPei refuses to eat the porridge again and they get into more bickering, which then ends up in a physical altercation with YuanYang sitting on GuQingPei’s lap and forces him to eat the porridge.
• GuQingPei orders YuanYang to leave his room but YuanYang refuses giving the excuse that he has no money to continue to stay in his room since PengFang has left and his dad had cut his finances, all thanks to GuQingPei.
• YuanYang ends up staying in the same room with GuQingPei.

Chapter 21

• GuQingPei felt much better. But the atmosphere in the room between the both is awkward.
• GuQingPei wanted to use the restroom and ask YuanYang to hand him his clothes. YuanYang hands him a bathrobe.
• After the sexual ordeal and being weakened from his feverish sickness, GuQingPei tries to get out of bed but almost falls, YuanYang walks over to support him.
• YuanYang walks him to the restroom and GuQingPei asks YuanYang to help him buy some clothes.
• GuQingPei asks YuanYang to get out the bathroom because he needed to pee.
• YuanYang refuses. GuQingPei ends up squirting his pee on YuanYang.
• YuanYang is naturally enraged. More intense bickering between the two.
• YuanYang tells GuQingPei that he probably hasn’t learned his lesson and GuQingPei berates YuanYang on his shameless method of dealing with the enemy (drugging and rape) and mocks him for his bad bed skills, calling him a coward.
• Furious, YuanYang wanted to fuck GuQingPei again and threatens that he will do so if he gets continuously provoked.
• YuanYang attempts to apply medication on GuQingPei’s butthole, GuQingPei refused and after much struggle on the bed, GuQingPei loses his energy and YuanYang proceeds to apply the medication on his butthole, while at the same time, YuanYang tells GuQingPei that he finds his butthole especially irresistible.
• GuQingPei warns YuanYang to not fall in love with him; both knowingly declare war on each other.

Chapter 22

• YuanYang takes money from GuQingPei and tells him that he will go buy some clothes for him.
• GuQingPei is determined to make YuanYang pay for this.
• After YuanYang leaves, GuQingPei changes into his clothes and return to the original hotel they stayed at.
• GuQingPei guesses that YuanYang wouldn’t have much money left after buying his clothes and would likely be left spending the night outdoors.
• GuQingPei checks into another hotel.
• GuQingPei checks out his body that is full of bruises and traces from the sexual ordeal and becomes furious and depressed.
• GuQingPei gets texts and messages from YuanYang, to which he ignored and deleted.
• GuQingPei rested at the hotel for two days before taking a flight to return to Beijing and sees YuanYang at the airport picking him up.
• GuQingPei tells YuanYang to dress appropriately to come pick him up next time. More bickering ensues where YuanYang tells him that he will do so even when fucking him in the future and GuQingPei again mocks YuanYang’s bad bed skills telling him that he needs more practice.
• GuQingPei asks YuanYang how he spent the night in HuangZhou. Obviously, he knew that YuanYang had no money and had no place to stay.
• YuanYang mockingly gave GuQingPei his blurb on where he’s been spending his time and how he’s been eating even with no money and ask GuQingPei if he’s happy with his response.
• YuanYang drives GuQingPei home. GuQingPei takes his luggage and leaves without looking back.
• YuanYang asks GuQingPei to invite him into his home. GuQingPei refuses and compares YuanYang to a dog.
• GuQingPei calls YuanLiJiang to talk about status and then proceeds to ask that he introduced YuanYang to girls to get him ready for “marriage.”
• YuanYang sends GuQingPei a picture of him sleeping and words that further provokes him.

Chapter 23

• Next working day, GuQingPei comes downstairs to find YuanYang standing outside the car waiting for him as usual.
• GuQingPei teases YuanYang for his excessive phone use. YuanYang informs him that he has no money and can only play games on his phone and get calls.
• GuQingPei mocks him and tells him he’ll be paid soon and to buy some warm clothes.
• GuQingPei meets the new female HR director he hires, Director Liu. They have their business introductions with GuQingPei being extremely praise-worthy of the new competent director. His flowery words disgust YuanYang.
• GuQingPei introduces YuanYang as his assistant and driver to this new director.
• YuanYang finds GuQingPei’s personality and the way he treats women in general shameless. (GuQingPei is all praises and flirty toward the female staff).
• Later YuanYang storms into GuQingPei’s office and demands to know who the new recruit is, asking why GuQingPei is so enthused with her and throwing a bunch of questions at him.
• GuQingPei asks YuanYang why he cares and for the most part ignores him as he made a call to invite the new Director to lunch.
• YuanYang is furious.
• GuQingPei comes back with YuanYang still fuming in his office.
• GuQingPei decides to take a nap in his break room. After changing into his pajamas, YuanYang barges in and decided that he also wanted to take a nap in this room.
• Both were unwilling to admit defeat so they ended up laying on the bed together.

Chapter 24

• Laying in bed together, YuanYang smells GuQingPei’s scent giving him the urge to want to touch and feel him.
• YuanYang is becoming confused and infatuated with GuQingPei’s body as he continues to fantasize fucking him.
• YuanYang ask GuQingPei if he had applied the medicine on himself (medication on his butthole) to which GuQingPei didn’t respond and YuanYang proceeded to do that what he had wanted all along, which was to remove GuQingPei’s pants to check.
• GuQingPei punches him. YuanYang is livid that GuQingPei is gay but is not showing the least bit interest in him but is rather willing do it with money boys.
• They get into more intense bickering.
• YuanYang reminds GuQingPei of that night again, this further made GuQingPei feels shameful.
• After some intense arguing, GuQingPei tells YuanYang to leave, which he does and storms off.
• YuanYang doesn’t come to work for the next two days. GuQingPei is glad not having to deal with a troublesome YuanYang.
• The company staff likely guessed that YuanYang is someone significant and tries to stay away from him.
• In the company’s weekly meeting, all of YuanYang’s work violations and salary reduction is read to the staff. YuanYang ended up with his entire salary reduced and even owed a balance. YuanYang is furious. GuQingPei is obviously trying to shame YuanYang as well as use him as an example in front of the company staff.

Chapter 25

• A furious YuanYang barges in GuQingPei’s office following the office meeting.
• GuQingPei was on the phone with YuanLiJiang.
• YuanLiJiang asked to talk to YuanYang and scolds him for being rude.
• YuanYang accuses GuQingPei of masterminding the plan to make him a pauper, as in taking away all his money, which is likely true.
• YuanYang really didn’t care about not having money to spend but is angry that GuQingPei also asked his dad to introduce girls to him, complaining that he has no money to date.
• GuQingPei fully supports YuanYang in dating and even mockingly offers to give him money to date. They bicker over dating.
• GuQingPei informs YuanYang that there is a business dinner and to dress appropriately for the occasion.
• The business dinner is to discuss a company lawsuit.
• YuanYang observes how GuQingPei engages with others, with his constant temperament changes and eloquence.
• GuQingPei introduces YuanYang to the people at the dinner gathering.
• YuanLiJiang also arrives at this business dinner. YuanLiJiang is enraged at YuanYang’s gloomy performance but maintains his high appreciation of GuQingPei.
• YuanYang drives the three of them home (Him, GuQingPei, YuanLiJiang).
• YuanYang gets turned on by an unconscious, seemingly drunk GuQingPei.

Chapter 26

• GuQingPei appears to be drunk from the business dinner.
• YuanYang takes GuQingPei home and goes into his home.
• YuanYang sees that GuQingPei’s house is a spotless 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms home.
• YuanYang carries GuQingPei to his bedroom. GuQingPei gets into bed and tells YuanYang to leave.
• YuanYang pulls GuQingPei up trying to get him to take a shower but GuQingPei refuses, insisting on going to sleep.
• YuanYang tells him to change his clothes instead but GuQingPei also didn’t want to do that. YuanYang proceeds to forcefully change GuQingPei.
• YuanYang really wanted to have sex with GuQingPei.
• Again, GuQingPei reiterates YuanYang’s bad bed skills to which YuanYang reminded him that he came several times that night but GuQingPei attributed that to the drug and not his skills.
• GuQingPei orders YuanYang to leave his house.
• YuanYang presses GuQingPei onto the bed. He asked GuQingPei to guide him (on sex). GuQingPei refuses.
• GuQingPei vomits on YuanYang.
• YuanYang washes a sleepy GuQingPei in the bathtub and cleans himself as well as the mess in the room.
• YuanYang carries GuQingPei back to bed. YuanYang also felt sleepy so decides to sleep in GuQingPei’s bed.
• YuanYang pulls GuQingPei into his arms and falls asleep.
